I had such a beautiful soul for this shoot: a beach maternity session on Sadiyaat Beach in Abu Dhabi.
She wanted to do something very natural and relaxed, which suited her warm and calm personality. I wanted to shoot very light - keeping the colours of the afternoon light, soft and muted, and the tones for the black and white, very gentle. I hope the images show the serene energy she had about her as she prepared for the next stage in her life.
