With the wind picking up, we decided to head straight into the dunes and skip the photos by the lakes. The sand in the air actually gave a lovely filter to the light, casting a soft haze over the desert ... Although the wind caused a few funky hair styles!
Family R wanted to capture natural moments, nothing too posed or looking in to the camera. Baby O’s eyes, exploring the sand, the desert landscape … were all important details to photograph too. I loved the shoot – and the images we got. No sandstorm was going to steal our thunder!
